Information You Need to Know
• Your passport must be valid for a full six months after the return date of your program. If your passport expires before this projected date you will need to apply for a new passport. No exceptions.
• Please check your passport expiration date. Calculate a full six months based on your return date. If your passport expiration date falls within this six month period, you must apply for a new passport.
• If the program your are attending includes Israel and you have an entry or exit stamps in your passport reflecting previous travels to an Arab or Muslim nation, you must notify Emmaus.
• If you do not have a USA, CANADA, UK or EU passport special circumstances may apply to your entry into a scheduled foreign country. If a foreign Entry Visa Stamp is required, the stamp and administrative arrangements are your personal responsibility. The above noted nations (and certain others) do not need an advance Entry Visa and no action on your part is necessary.

Seven to ten days after you have applied for your passport you may view the delivery status of your passport at: http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/status/status_2567.html. The U.S. Postal Service also has passport applications. Visit http://www.usps.com/. Perform a search for "Passport" and follow the links.
