You are responsible for your own airline tickets to and from Israel. Two bus transfers from Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) to your lodging at Migdal, near the Sea of Galilee, will be provided on June 30. The first transfer will be at 12:00 PM (noon) and the second transfer will be at 6:00 PM. You need to plan your arrival in Israel to take advantage of one of these two bus transfers from the airport. Should you not be on one of the bus transfers, taxi service is available from the airport to Migdal for a cost of approximately $275. 

All overnights are in Migdal except for the final night which is in Jerusalem. 

Items to bring with you: hat, work gloves, knee pad, closed toed shoes (no flip-flops or sandals allowed at the dig site) 

An optional tour of Jerusalem, Masada, Qumran and a swim in the Dead Sea is available at the end of the excavation. This optional tour requires an additional fee. See the Optional Jerusalem - Dead Sea Tour link for additional information.

OPTIONAL TOUR OF JERUSALEM, MASADA, QUMRAN, DEAD SEA (Additional Fee)

JULY 13        DAY 1:        The City of David and Hezekiah's Tunnel touring will take place the afterrnoon of July 13 upon arrival in Jerusalem
JULY 14   DAY 2:   Jerusalem: Herodian Mansions, Burnt House, Jaffa Gate, Gennath Gate, Church of the Resurrection
JULY 15   DAY 3:   Masada, Qumran, Dead Sea Swim
JULY 16       End of Optional Tour
        Departure Day. A transfer to the airport will be provided.
