Roommate Policy

When an individual applies to an Emmaus trip and requests Emmaus to assign them a roommate, Emmaus will make every effort to assign you a roommate since, in most cases, there are others on the trip also needing a roommate assigned. Under certain circumstances, it may be necessary to assign you to two roommates, comprising a room of three persons with individual beds. Only in the rarest of occasions is Emmaus not able to accommodate someone with a roommate. If this applies to your individual circumstance you will have the option to pay the single room supplement fee designated for your trip or you may withdraw from the trip prior to 90 days of departure without any financial penalty and receive a full refund. As a matter of policy, Emmaus encourages everyone to find a friend, relative or acquaintance that might want to attend the trip with you as your traveling companion and roommate.

Testimonials

  • "Dr. Emanuel was a Blessing. I learned so much from him. He is very familiar with Israel and the Holy Land. He is a walking dictionary as it pertains to the Bible. It is because of Dr. Emanuel's readings of the Bible and the way he connected various Holy Sites we visited to the Bible that I can now read the Bible with increased comprehension. The Trip to the Holy Land was wonderful. At no time did I feel we were in any danger during our visit. Among many of the joyful activities we participated in was being baptized in the Jordan River, sailing on the Sea of Galilee and floating in the Dead Sea. I cannot wait to return to the Holy Land with Dr. Emanuel."
