WELCOME

NOTE: Due to the popularity of this trip, it is recommended you submit your application and deposit as soon as your personal circumstances allow. Upon reaching our maximum capacity of 50, a Waiting List will be implemented.

Wink and Cris Thompson invite you to join them on an unforgettable trip to the Holy Land.

Visit the Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and so much more. We anticipate a great time as we explore the historical places and roots of our Judaic and Christian heritage. Dr. Wink Thompson will be our primary guide. With geography, history, archaeology and culture as our resources, the land and people of ancient and modern Israel will become more meaningful, and even provide life applications for us who live a world far, far removed from Old Testament and New Testament Israel.

To travel the land of the Bible, to read, and to discuss the events of the Bible where they took place is an unforgettable experience. Historical insights and inspirational fellowship will encourage your heart, strengthen your faith and deepen your walk with our Lord.

Enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the Sea of Galilee where so much of Jesus’ ministry took place. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes and float effortlessly in the Dead Sea. Walk up the steps leading to the area of the ancient Jewish Temple and learn how those in the New Testament took care to be ritually pure before entering. See the area of shops that probably experienced the disfavor of Jesus as they were accused of turning that area from a “place of prayer” into a “den of thieves.” Experience the sights, sounds and fragrances of Jerusalem’s Old City market places and walk down from the Mount of Olives to the area of the Garden of Gethsemane as you gaze across to the walled city of Jerusalem. A recent pilgrim on a prior trip said, “This is like experiencing your faith in 3D.” I think all of us who have visited the Holy Land would agree and we might also add, you will never read your Bible the same again. It will come alive as never before.

Cris and I look forward to a wonderful and exciting time in Israel. Mark your calendar and join us if you can. It will be great to have you along.

Testimonials

  • "Rarely a day passes when I don't think of something we did while on that wonderful trip. During the past year I have received many invitations from churches, Bible study groups, men’s breakfast groups as well as secular organizations to share of my experiences in Israel. God is sure using our time together in Israel as means of sharing his word in ways I would otherwise have never had the opportunity to do. Interest in Israel here in my community is so high at present. I use a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate my message. Many of the photos I use come from the collection you so kindly gave us after our departure - again, thank you. One of your opening remarks I remember was that while we would be introduced to much while in Israel during the two weeks of the tour, we would probably spend a lifetime unpacking the experience in our Christian walk. I think of that often and I want to let you know that your words are proving to be so true. I look forward to one day accompanying you (Wink) and Steve on another tour, perhaps back to Israel or even to Greece and Turkey. I am praying for your ministry and thank God for your work, may He continually richly bless you."
